About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves handling construction materials, organizing inventory, and ensuring the efficient flow of supplies to and from job sites. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
· Receive, inspect, and store construction materials and tools.
· Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure quick access to supplies.
· Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
· Prepare, package and stage materials for dispatch to job sites in a timely manner.
· Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary).
· Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
· Perform weekly inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment.
· Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
· Assist with minor equipment maintenance and repairs.
· Collaborate with site managers and other team members to fulfill material requests.
· May be required to assist with supply coordination.
· Other related duties.
Skills:
· Previous warehouse or construction-related experience is an asset.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
· Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools is a plus.
· Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Good communication skills.
· Must be punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
· Quick learner with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
· Problem-solving skills.
