We are looking for a driven Site Supervisor to join our team to perform and assist in the following and related duties.
Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Collaborate on construction plans, schedules, and day-to-day operations.
- Workforce Management: Supervise construction workers and subcontractors, assign tasks, and provide guidance.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards; conduct inspections.
- Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols; conduct safety trainings.
- Material and Equipment Management: Coordinate delivery and handling of construction materials and equipment.
- Communication and Reporting: Update the project manager regularly; maintain records and reports.
- Problem Solving: Identify and develop solutions to construction site issues.
- Hands-On Work: Proficient in specific construction tasks like framing, install drywall and painting.
- Assistance in Operations: May be required to assist project coordinator or manager as needed.
- Other related duties
Requirements:
- Proven background as a Construction Site Supervisor or similar role.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret construction plans and drawings.
- Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
- Able to work in demanding, outdoor environments.
- High level of detail-orientation and problem-solving skills.
- Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Authorization to lawfully work in Canada.
- Preferred Training and Certifications: WHMIS for Managers and Supervisors; Office Health and Safety; Hazard Identification, Assessment and Control.
